Soul Kitchen

If you like private dining or want to feel as if the entire place has been booked just for you – then book a table at Soul Kitchen at the respectable dining hour of 7pm.

If you want a bustling atmosphere, an interesting crowd, and absolutely fantastic music that will have you ignoring your date and spending a large portion of the night on Shazam and Spotify downloading the playlist, I recommend booking a little later on in the evening.

I’m just joking, the good music starts much earlier…

The menu delivers what it promises, serving luscious Levantine and Latin American flavours.

Some stand out dishes: Sea Bass Ceviche, Soul Kitchen Guacamole served with Plantain Chips (one of the best Guac’s I’ve had in Dubai), Grilled Calamari (nice to have a mix of squid heads/tentacles on the plate along with the tubes, which you don’t get very often), Crispy Shawarma Empanadas (as yummy as it sounds), and then the star of the show for me, the Beef Short Rib Birria – don’t make the stupid decision to share it with anyone, you will regret it, as I did. Superb. Would have licked the plate but one of the very charming service staff came over asking if I wanted another Arak Bellini – which I did…

A dark, moody ambient sanctuary set in the ubiquitous construction of Business Bay, friendly, charming service, and delicious dishes.

Highly recommend it.
